The shared bathroom situation was a bit overwhelming, but
overall, my stay was quite pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stop. It’s a budget-friendly option with a decent location, though the noise from the street and a few rude staff members could be off-putting.

We enjoyed the Exploratorium nearby. its hands-on exhibits made for a fun family day! The location was convenient, just a short stroll to Union Square, making it easy to explore. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean, which was a plus for us.
In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if they had AC for those warm nights. Also, a more family-friendly atmosphere would be appreciated.

This hotel had a great location, making it easy to access local attractions. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean and well-maintained. However, the noise from the nearby bar could be a bit disruptive, and the staff could be more attentive to guests' needs.

Not obvious to find.

I loved the cozy vibe of this charming historical building! My room was squeaky clean, and there were plenty of fun spots nearby. It's also super close to local transport—very handy!
But goodness, the shared bathrooms made me feel like I was playing bathroom roulette! And let's just say, it's not the fanciest joint around.

Holy guacamole, the dining options near Utah Inn are a foodie’s dream! Cockscomb’s got that top-notch vibe with culinary magic, and if you’re into tacos, Chavo's Mexican Restaurant is a must-try, just a hop away. Plus, the staff was chill and check-in was a breeze—a total win!
Now, here’s the kicker, I arrived at 2 am and couldn't check in until 2 pm the next day—what a bummer! And the shared bathrooms? Big yikes. Flavors were all around, but I wished for a smoother check-in and a private restroom.

The shared bathrooms were a major inconvenience given the number of guests, which left little privacy. Noise from the bar below disturbed sleep until the early morning hours, making it hard to get any rest. However, the location was convenient with various dining options nearby, and the price was quite affordable for a short stay. A decent salad could make for a refreshing option in such a basic setup.

We explored the Exploratorium and Aquarium of the Bay, both are must-visits. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly clean, and it was nice to know we had basic necessities in our room. Just a heads up, the location isn't the fanciest, but it has its charm, and plenty to do close by. I'd recommend it for a fun getaway!
One downside for us was the encounter with the staff. It felt like they were always outside smoking instead of helping. It just gave off a weird vibe during our stay. I think more attentive service would really improve the experience.
